The inherent problem with electric hybrid automobiles is financial and mathematical. Why would someone purchase a car for $25K when a comparable automobile would be priced at under $20k for the objective of saving cash on gasoline? Do you know how many years that you would need to drive in order to get that money back? Well, let's do the math, let's assume that you need to shell out $8K more for to buy the electric hybrid automobile. If you travel 50 miles per day then you will save about $75 monthly on gas. So, you would need to drive 10 years to get that $8k investment back! Wow! Such a deal! Actually, another event comes in about 7 years or so which makes it an even better deal! you will have to fork out about $5000 for a new battery for the car so make it more like 15 years total!Well, ok, some individualss who have some extra money, they are ok on spending a few thousand dollars more if it means that they can help clean the environment with less emissions or appearing to others that they are. If the intention is sincere that is a very noble and humanitarian goal as well as being good rational logic for one's own survival because as sure as an innocent passenger on the Titanic would sink with the ship so will any of us go down with the Earth if we wreck the atmosphere much more than we already have. But doesabsolutely require that one has to be hit so hard financially so as to help the environment? Wouldn't it be better to find a better system that costs drastically less and donate the remainder to a worthy activity such as The Earth Organization ?That appears good conceptually but where is the practicality, right? If you knew where to find a solution for improved fuel performance while helping the planet while having a vehicle that runs better and doesn't require one to spend a king's ransom to get it then you would jump at that opportunity, right?
